Hi everyone. The Children's Book Garden now carries my book! I'm so excited because it's such a great store nestled in West OC. I can hardly take Natalie with me -- she just wants to play and touch everything. Hope you all get a chance to visit this unique shop!

Winter is here!

Today has been cold, wet, and now a slushy snowy mix. I hope it is dry enough (and safe enough) for all to get out and shop at the 7th District Rescue Squad's Vendor Fair and Craft Show tomorrow, Dec 6th. I'd love to see everyone but know driving conditions may be rough. Please take care and hope to see you there!

How time flies. This Sunday, December 6th is the 7th District Vendor Fair. I will be there selling my book. The event starts at 9am and will end at 2pm. I will be having book specials during this time, I hope to see you there!!

I'll be at the 7th District Rescue Squad's vendor and craft show. This event is sponsored by their Auxillary team, who is hard at work making sure this is quite a fair. Many famous vendors as well as some new ones will be attending this event to help you scratch names on your holiday shopping list. Crafters have also been invited to 'set up shop' so please come see me, get your book, and have a great time browsing the rest of the booths. Hope to see you soon!! Jenn

7th District Resque Squad's show will be Sunday, December 6th from 9am to 2pm. The entire event will be located in the squad's building located on Rt 242 (Colton's Point Road) in Avenue, MD.

Well it was a good thing I didnt rush to the Eastern Shore in such bad weather Thurs evening since school ended up being closed anyway. I will plan a new date in January--I will update blog once date is confirmed. Thanks and hope to see you all then!

The Maryland Antiques Center

One more St Mary's location now selling my book, Nat, Dune Bugg, and Pickles is The MD Antiques Center is located on south-bound route 5 in Leonardtown. Open daily from 10-5, the Center not only has collectable antiques but also new, local, and unusual finds many of which make really neat gifts!

Another St Mary's store now has it!

St. Clements Island Museum now carries Nat, Dune Bugg and Pickles. Check out their great shop with lots of local stuff and a nice museum to boot! Just visiting there always makes Nat and I feel good. The view, the land, the quietness, plus today was soooo beautiful I wish I had planned better and packed our lunch. Visit the museum with your brown bag in tow and enjoy the picknick table with this fantastic view!

OCES Here I Come!!

Hi all. I will be speaking to the 1st and 2nd graders about my book! Ohhhhh help me (gosh and them too!) I'm excited and think it will be alot of fun! I will be there my lucky day, Fri the 13th of November.

1st Book Sale!

You can find me this Sunday, November 1st at Mother Catherine Spalding's Bazaar in Helen, MD. Monday November 2nd I will be distributing books and will update stores carrying them.

Who What Where??

Bushwood (aka The 7th) is located in St Mary's County. I'm sure it must be the only place on Earth referred to by it's voting/governmental district assigned number. Anyway, the idea to write my first children's book (yeah like there might be another...lol) is from my sister Suellen Vickers. My 3 babies; Nat, Dune Bugg and Pickles *along with Bushwood* were my inspirations. ENJOY! **Pictures coming soon!
